Anthony was diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) when he was 9 months old. At 2 years, he had OHS to repair it, and more defects were found- bilateral superior vena cava, and partial anomolous pulmonary veinous return (PAPVR). His right pulmonary veins were attached to the right atrium instead of the left. The defect was repaired, and he is here today because of the devotion of medical professionals to healthcare, science, and research.
