10th Annual Our Community Has Heart!

Important announcement:

Safety being the number one concern for all heart families, the board has unfortunately decided they could not guarantee that holding this event would be safe for those that attend with the increased numbers and illness circulating.

The event will still be held as a virtual walk (similar to last year) from September 25 through October 2. We encourage teams to continue to raise awareness, post pictures and share with us how they celebrate, honor or remember.

We know this is not ideal and we long for the time we can gather again and walk in honor and remembrance of these heart kiddos.

Refunds and shirt cancellations will be offered for those who request to kristen.thomas@lastingimprint.org by September 20th.

For those that still want to contribute, we are so thankful and as an organization that is passionate about CHD research we will be donating 50% of all money raised from the Mankato event to research this year! Shirts will be mailed Friday, September 24th.

Event Timeline

8:00-9:30 a.m. Registration
9:00 a.m.  5K Fun Run
9:00-11:30 a.m. Kids Activities
9:45 a.m. Kids Fun Run
10:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony
10:30 a.m. Awareness Walk
11:30 a.m. Free celebration meal

Registration Fees

Adult 5K and/or Awareness Walk (ages 17 & above)  $30
Kids 5K or want an event shirt (ages 5-16)  $10
Kids who would NOT like an event shirt (ages 16 and under)  Free
Virtual Option--Same registration fees as above. Shirts will be mailed to you (please know there is a chance they may not make it to you by September 25th)
All registrations after September 9th will not receive an event shirt!
Online registration will close at 9:00 p.m. on September 23rd. You can still register in person the day of the event.

ATTENTION HEART FAMILIES!

Lasting Imprint will be hosting a get together at 6:00 p.m the night before the event on September 24th at a location yet to be determined. Food will be provided. This is a great opportunity for everyone to spend time getting to know each other before the big day! We have 3 free rooms for Friday night for those families traveling a long distance. Please contact Kristen at kristen.thomas@lastingimprint.org for more information. 

Once again we would like to display posters along the walk route to share our CHD stories. Posters must be received no later than the night of September 24th in order to be displayed during the event.

If you or your child has not yet received a "CHD Warrior" or "my CHD Warrior has wings" shirt please let us know as we will be placing an order so they arrive in time for the event. Lasting Imprint covers the cost of these shirts so there is no expense to your family.
